I’m looking into the 4G service for our new Grand Wagoneer. We don’t have the second-row screens, and our family is on an unlimited phone data plan, so I’m wondering if signing up for the vehicle’s data plan is wort it. From what I can tell, the pasenger screen doesn’t support adding Fire TV or other streaming apps. Am I missing something?

If you already have unlimited data on your phone plan, you might not need the vehicle’s 4G service. The main advantage is for Wi-Fi hotspot use if multiple people need to connect, but if everyone just uses their phone’s hotspot, it’s kind of redundant. As for the passenger screen, you’re right it doesn’t support Fire TV natively, so you’d still need a streaming device plugged into the HDMI port.

If you're already on an unlimited phone data plan, the vehicle's 4G service might be redundant unless you need a more stable connection for streaming or in-car apps.
