There is something odd happening with my Wagoneer. Whenever it downshifts, I can feel the downshifts very strongly. I can literally hear the shifts happening inside the car. It is not happening every time, but when it does happen, it is pretty noticeable. Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal?

Faulty tranny bearings or torque converter could possibly cause it. Your transmission needs to be checked.

Or you might be dealing with a busted mount or sway bar bracket! You might feel it in the driveline, but the real culprit could be hiding somewhere else. Time to swing by the dealer for a little check-up!

For me, it was a worn-out transmission mount. Better to catch it early before it causes more damage!
