Hi!

I have a problem. My Wagoneer thinks it has the trailer attached and it beeps, asking me to check the trailer. Also, it disabled the rear parking sensors. Crazy, I know! This happened after I removed the trailer I towed something two days ago.

I once had to tow a trailer with my Wagoneer and it kept beeping thinking the trailer was still attached even after I unhooked it. A quick battery reset did the trick for me, so I’d recommend trying that...

Take it to the dealership! This is the best way to find out more about this issue.

Hey, guys, I have an update. You were right @nadalfan137! There was actually a short in the connector. It was freaking full of water. I don't really understand how it got in there. I way waiting for a new connector now.
Probably because of the rain. Even though that's unfortunate, at least you found the cause and a way to fix it.

Nice work! At least they pinpointed the issue. Any idea how long it’ll take to get the replacement connector?

Which specific connector was causing the problem?
The specific connector causing the problem is the 7-pin round connector. It was a Mopar (it should have been the original Curtis part). I replaced it with a split adapter. It has a 5-pin for the boat and keeps the 7-pin round.
