Hi, everyone!
I want to share with you a little story of why you should not buy a used car.
My cousin bought a used 2021 Wagoneer with a distorted windshield. It caused discomfort for her while driving. The problem is the issue isn't covered by the vehicle's windshield warranty because it has been more than a year since she bought it. Anyway, she submitted the issue through a "goodwill program" (it seems it is a known problem with a specific internal identification number), but the dealership offered to cover only 60% of the repair cost. My cousin has to pay the rest of 40% which is close to $600. She thinks that's unfair, thinking the manufacturer should take full responsibility... In my opinion, it is not the case... it is just an example of "don't buy used cars". What do you think?

That's a tough break for your cousin! It really highlights the importance of thoroughly inspecting used cars and understanding warranty coverage before buying.

Buying a used car always comes with risks. When I bought my first one, there was more than one issue with it. But I was aware of such a situation. The car was a cheap one. I didn't regret it because it ended with a little accident (ups). Imagine if I had a new one...wasted money.

Even though I was in a similar situation as her, you are right! You have to be very careful and do your homework before buying a used car.
