Hi, everyone!
I want to share with you a little story of why you should not buy a used car.
My cousin bought a used 2021 Wagoneer with a distorted windshield. It caused discomfort for her while driving. The problem is the issue isn't covered by the vehicle's windshield warranty because it has been more than a year since she bought it. Anyway, she submitted the issue through a "goodwill program" (it seems it is a known problem with a specific internal identification number), but the dealership offered to cover only 60% of the repair cost. My cousin has to pay the rest of 40% which is close to $600. She thinks that's unfair, thinking the manufacturer should take full responsibility... In my opinion, it is not the case... it is just an example of "don't buy used cars". What do you think?
