My jeep wagoneer AEB module has failed twice already at 3,000 and 15,000 miles. It just shows a warning message and the check engine light. I'm worried there's an underlying problem causing the module to fail repeatedly, and the dealer is just replacing it instead of finding the real cause. It's expensive to replace $1,000 and takes a long time to recalibrate. It's been covered by the warranty so far, but I'm worried about what happens when it expires. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas what could be causing it, or how to get the car company to actually fix the problem?

So, have they looked at the wiring pins? Those are where the module gets plugged in. There is an internal issue for sure, and I hope you will get it sorted out.

It sounds like the dealer should look into the root cause, not just replace the module. You might want to escalate the issue or get a second opinion to avoid future replacements.
