Good day!
A few days ago, my 2024 GW (only 3000 miles) gifted me the code P0088, which stands for high-pressure fuel rail. It caught me off guard because the car's practically brand new. I was on the highway when this happened. It is frustrating seeing this issue come up so early. I know there are stories with older models to give this code, but I never expected it to happen this soon with the 2024 version.

Anyone has gone through this? What should I do? Can I call it a dealership trip?

That's pretty concerning, esp. in a brand-new ride! Definitely check out your owner's manual for some tips, but with such low mileage and everything going on, hitting up the dealership is a smart move. They’ll be able to figure out what's up and sort out any warranty stuff too!

The possible culprits behind this code might be the fuel pressure sensor, fuel regulator, high-pressure pump, fuel injector, or even the PCM module.

The PCM module will need a little TLC with a software update to get it back on track!

Yep! This happened to my car when it was still new. I got a code for a fuel system issue, and it turned out to be a faulty sensor. I took it to the dealership, and they fixed it under warranty..
