Scary issue on my 2023 Wagoneer

Has anyone had problems with the screen on their car going blank, making weird noises, or not working? Also, the car's lights went on, alarms went off, and the brakes locked up while I was driving. Has anyone else had this happen?

I remember I read something similar on Facebook a while ago. The 4WD indicator and stability control lights were coming on by themselves, and then the parking brake was engaging while even in motion. The guy with the issue said he had to tow it to the dealership. There he found someone with the same problem. So, things are crazy...

sounds intense and a bit scary! I haven’t had this exact issue with my Wagoneer, but I did have some screen glitches where it would freeze or reboot itself randomly. Nothing like alarms going off or brakes locking up, though. I’d recommend getting this checked out soon, especially with the brakes acting up while driving. might be an issue with the electrical system or a software glitch affecting multiple components. Definitely worth a trip to the dealer. hopefully, they can get it sorted!

I’ve had my own set of issues with the screen on my 2023 Wagoneer too—mine sometimes goes blank or gets stuck in reboot mode. But I haven’t had the lights and alarms go off or the brakes lock up—that sounds way worse. sounds like the car might be having some electrical glitch, especially if different systems are acting up at once. I’d bring it to the dealership or shop ASAP. They need to reset the system, install a software update, or something. Hopefully, it's just a minor problem. Better safe than sorry!

that sounds really unsettling, especially with the brakes locking up while driving! I haven’t had all those issues on my Wagoneer, but I did have problems with the screen blanking out randomly and making weird noises. The dealership mentioned it could be a software issue, and they managed to fix it with an update. In your case, though, since the brakes and alarms are also involved, I’d definitely take it in as soon as possible. There might be a deeper issue affecting the whole electrical system. Hope it’s something simple and you can get back to smooth driving soon!

definitely sounds concerning! I haven’t had all of those issues happen at once, but I did have a similar problem with the screen going blank and the alarms acting up. Turned out there was a problem with the wiring harness, which was interfering with the signals to different systems. I’d recommend checking with your dealership to see if it’s a known issue or if there’s a software update they can apply. It’s probably a good idea to document everything, too, in case you have to go back multiple times. Fingers crossed it’s a simple fix, definitely let us know how it goes!
