The Wagoneer is the only car my whole family agrees on, so I’m looking at a used 2023 or new 2024. I’ve got a few questions: Has the battery drain issue been fixed, or is it still hanging around? I saw online that the tailgate and connect service might be to blame. When I checked out new ones, every Wagoneer had to be jumped, and the dealer said they'd throw in a new battery if I bought one. The sales rep mentioned they don’t hold charge well when sitting, which seems like more than just a lot issue. Also, if something breaks, how long does it usually take to get fixed?

If you are set on the Wagoneer, I would strongly recommend getting the new 2024 because of the lemon law protection (in case things don't go as planned). The battery drain is still a thing, and if every new one on the lot needed a jump, that’s a red flag. I wish you inspiration to take the best decision.
