Vibrating when braking

My car's brakes are vibrating, even though it's still at 41k miles. Is it time for a brake pad replacement? Has anyone done this before? What was your experience?

Vibrating brakes could mean it's time for new pads or that the rotors need resurfacing. I’ve replaced pads before, and it’s usually manageable if you’re up for a DIY
