Hello!

I am trying to connect a dashcam to the USB, inside the rearview mirror enclosure, but while doing that, I want to remove the rearview mirror and the plastic cover without causing any damage. Could anyone help me with any insights, please? Maybe some of you have already done that installation before. Thank you very much!

Be careful with this! The plastic cover around the mirror is usually held on by clips so a plastic trim tool is your best bet to avoid damage. The rearview mirror might have a screw or clip securing it look for a release mechanism at the base. If you’re not comfortable, you might want to ask a professional for help. Better safe than sorry with these kinds of installs.

Hey, just checking in—have you done the install yet? Curious to hear how it went and if you ran into any issues!
