My 2022 Wagoneer Series III just had a major electrical failure that left us stranded. It happened while slowing down at a stoplight every warning light lit up and then the vehicle completely died. No hazard lights, couldn’t shift into neutral, and the wheels wouldn’t roll. Thankfully, someone stayed behind with their lights on while we waited for a tow.
The dealer initially said they couldn’t find anything wrong and asked me to pick it up, but when I started it, the battery and check engine lights were on. After showing the service advisor, they decided to keep it. They opened a case with Star line, but now Star has told them they know of the issue but currently have no fix.
This feels like it might be a larger problem. Has anyone else experienced similar electrical failures with their Wagoneer S? I called the Wagoneer customer service line, and the rep guessed it was electrical before I even explained, which makes me think this isn’t isolated.
