Grand Wagoneer easy entry button

I've got a brand new Grand Wagoneer and I'm running into some trouble with the 2nd row easy entry button. After using it for the first time with my kids, I'm now getting a "check 2nd row latch before driving" warning on the dash.

Everything seems to be in order, but the easy entry button isn't working anymore.

Anyone knows how to reset or fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We had the same thing happened with our 2023 Wagoneer the other day. Dash warning flashed about the left seat in the second row - it was all wobbly and felt loose. I pressed the release button forever, but nothing happened! I shut off the car and came back about an hour later, and bam, the button finally worked to free the latch. We checked for any obstructions, but found nothing. Now the seat's working fine. Thank goodness!

I had this problem a lot too. Moving the seat up and down didn't fix it. What worked for me was sitting in the seat and bouncing up and down a few times. It was like the car needed to know that someone was in the seat. I haven't had this problem in a while.
