My sunroof just exploded!!

Is this a common Jeep thing or is it just me? My sunroof suddenly exploded! I only opened my sunroof screen when suddenly while I was driving it exploded. Have any of you here experienced this?

This sounds really alarming! I dont think this is very common but there have been reports of sunroofs spontaneously shattering in some Jeeps. Probably due to temperature changes or manufacturing error. But I think this should be covered under warranty. Let us know what happens

Sunroofs? Nah, they're not worth the extra cash, man. They usually end up being a letdown and don’t really add much to the ride.

Sunroofs can break on many different car brands. They often break when the temperature changes a lot. Did you take it to your dealer?
