So yeah we all know the deal with the Grand Wagoneer – if you want those second-row captain's chairs, you're stuck with that massive center console. But here's the thing: I'm itching to create a pass-through space back there. Got a couple of burning questions: Can you yank out that center console altogether? I know there's all sorts of gadgets in there, but is it doable to ditch it for a seamless pass-through in the second row? And what about opting for the second-row bench seat with the 40/20/40 setup? Can you pull out that middle "20" seat entirely to open up some sweet pass-through action? Hit me up with your thoughts, folks!

You can definitely remove the center console. It's fairly straightforward. Start by gently popping off the side panels at the back. Once both sides are loose, you'll find four bolts - one in each corner underneath the console. There's also an electrical plug on the passenger side that needs to be disconnected. After that, you can simply lift the console out.

Was it successful? Does it cause errors on the dash if you remove the center console?
