Wagoneer died mid-drive

My 2023 Wagoneer Series III just died mid-drive with a “key fob not detected” message. Dealer says water got in the PDC and shorted the fuel pump, but they’re denying warranty because of “external factors.”

32k miles, literally babied, never even off-roaded!

Water in a fuse box? This screams design flaw.

Anyone else dealt with this? The warranty denial is beyond ridiculous!
 
That’s absurd, water intrusion in the PDC shouldn't happen under normal conditions.
 
That’s insane, a sealed PDC shouldn’t let water in, especially on a nearly new vehicle, have you pushed back on the warranty denial?
 
Yeah, I’ve pushed back, but they’re sticking to their guns. It’s honestly frustrating, they’re acting like it’s my fault for “external factors” when the car’s barely been driven and kept in pristine condition. I’m thinking about escalating it to Jeep corporate.
