Wagoneer RPMs Jumping

I’m having an issue with my Wagoneer. the engine starts misfiring, especially noticeable when I’m idling. The RPMs start jumping around! I took it to a local dealer, but they didn’t have much advice. Just recommended an oil change. They also mentioned I could pick it up “if I needed it,” which didn’t feel too reassuring.

Has anyone else here experienced similar misfire issues with their Wagoneer? If so, did you find a fix that worked? It would be really helpful to know if there’s a solid solution out there before I head back to the dealership.

I haven't had that specific issue, but yeah misfiring can be tricky, and it’s concerning that the dealer didn’t provide much help. Have you considered checking the spark plugs or ignition coils? Those can sometimes cause misfiring too.

Hello! Yes, I have my 2022 Grand Wagoneer in at the moment for the same thing. Plus a few other oddities. When idling the RPMs hop up or rev high for no reason. I am also having a fluctuation when driving. Sometimes it feels as if I will putter out. The only way I can explain it is if you had tourettes with your foot, but yet you don't, and it jolts you around back and forth while pushing on the gas pedal steadily. It also lunges forward at times. It all is very erratic. I can not correlate why it does what it does when it does. It is a mystery, and making me feel very weary of my purchase. I would love any feedback if anyone has found a resolution, or has any advice.
