Wagoneer Sunroof Tilt Mode

I’m in a bit of a jam with the sunroof on my Grand Wagoneer. Trying to keep it tilted open when I lock up to let some heat out when parked, but it looks like that might not be doable since it keeps triggering the alarm. Anyone figured this out yet? Or am I just missing something obvious here?

Oh man, I feel you! I’ve got the same problem with my GW3. It’s been a hot mess since day one. So frustrating!

Has anyone contacted their dealership if there can be a fix? I dont think it is a default setting from the manufacturer.
