Hey all,

On my 2024 Wagoneer, if I am driving the vehicle over 20 mph and I take my foot off the gas, it will maintain the same speed for some seconds. First time it happened, I honestly thought the cruise control was on. I am not so sure if this is a feature of the hurricane engine or an issue. How do i turn it off if this is a feature? I will appreciate any help anyone can provide.

It sounds like there might be a problem with your transmission's control system. It could be a faulty solenoid, a bad TCM, or even a mechanical issue. Have you checked with your dealership? Maybe give them a call first.

I am yet to reach out to them, is is strange that I am kinda getting used to it. Lol
I will check with them this week.

I found out it’s actually a feature called 'coasting' that helps with fuel efficiency. I was able to turn it off through the settings menu in the dashboard. Now it behaves more like I expected. Thanks for all the suggestions

That’s actually a feature called coasting and it lets the car maintain speed after you lift off the gas to save fuel. You might be able to turn it off in the drive mode settings, or it could just be part of how the engine works.

That a nice feature if it is and hope the brakes still work!:)
