Wagoneer won't shut off & its draining the battery

Anyone else having electrical problem with their Wagoneer? Mine won't turn off fully, dash stays lit saying "hold brake to start" even after everything is closed and locked. Woke up to a dead battery this morning. Thankfully got a jump but it's happening again! Checked all the doors a million times, no spare key inside. Check engine light decided to join the party with new error codes, and the heads up display also stopped working. Love this car when it works but this is a safety nightmare. Especially if we were truly off-grid! Any advice before I trade it in?

How long have you owned your Wagoneer? Batteries typically need replacing every 2-3 years, so it might be worth checking yours.

Perhaps you accidentally left your key fob in the car, or you forgot to unplug something from the outlets. That could be the cause.
